The vast collection of books assembled by the Library of the Faculty of Humanities of AGH- University of Science and Technology, which are available to users in accordance with the Library Rules, includes the wide range of topics related to Social Sciences and Humanities, in particular to Sociology, Cultural Studies, Media Studies, Social Communication, History, Philosophy. The collection also includes encyclopaedias, lexicons, dictionaries, and recently published foreign language literature, for instance The Social Science Encyclopedia, A. Giddens - Sociology, The Blackwell Companion to Political Sociology.

The Library subscribes numerous titles of scientific periodicals, such as:

The list of magazines is available on our website as well as in the Library.

The basic source of information about the Library collection is to be found in the card catalogue (the traditional one), both in the alphabetic and thematic order. The titles published after 2004 may be browsed on the Online Catalogue of AGH- University of Science and Technology.  http://katalog.agh.kzb.krakow.pl

We would like to remind the Students  that we only accept student documents, i.e. a valid student identity card or student registration book. The documents shall be collected personally by the user or by a person authorised by them, on signing an appropriate declaration.
